"I might talk about a specific principle in a relatively "pure" form if I can think of something interesting to say about it, or I might talk about what principles I would apply in a specific real world situation. " I may have misunderstood your topic. I thought you were challenging the economic model builders on principle. Was that not it? What drew my interest was the term you originally used (separate status) for 'freedom'. You revised your view point to giving freedom an 'elevated status'. It seems that distinction is worthy of debate.
