Agree. No reason for obfuscation of any kind anymore. All official market info that exists in the digital realm should be available to all of us at the same exact time.

You're absolutely right. I can't understand why we have people who spend a lot of their time opposing full disclosure. Could it be that they work for the moneyed interests, the only ones who stand to gain by keeping this information hidden under the guise of its being proprietary or for so-called "competitive" reasons.

Grandfathering naked shorts likely made a ton of money for the moneyed players and the SEC let it happen. Without the cry by those who have spotted Naked Short Scamming early, we wouldn't be seeing the current calls for transparency and full disclosure.

The good news is the hedge funds are now suing the prime brokers claiming naked shorting on the part of the brokers. In all likelihood, the brokers will turn around and claim the hedge funds knew what was going on. More information will be shed on this scamming.
