<What is your basket of goods and services that we are to measure inflation by?>

Trivial pursuit asks better questions Mish. I do not have a GST basket unique to myself -- nor does this question hold any fascination for me. You have utterly failed to address even a single basic issue relevant to deflation versus inflation in a slowing economy. There is little point engaging in arcane issues of who has a better basket of goods as a measure of inflation. Take your pick -- take whatever basket turns you on. It won't change a thing.
