What Bush and co have done is run the deficit up since the "last" recession ( 2001 ) and granted have NOT payed down debt since. My point in examining his economic stance-one could easily see through the thin veil of transparency and realize another recession is on the horizon with little ammo left to defend the fort.

Batten down the hatches,imo.
