How do you distinguish between the two? Is it a gut feeling or some kind of revelation directly from God?



Had they allowed them to change the color of the light for those who would not carry alcohol, we would have know exactly which cabs to avoid, G*d would have had nothing to do with it. OTOH when ordering a cab telling them you will be carrying alcohol, allows them to disqualify themselves.

You can tell by the color of the lights under this new arrangement, if it's implemented. No way I'd get into a cab with the wrong color light.

You can also tell by whether they tell you to get out when you tell them that you're carrying booze.
