Any blockade would fail then, since China has the land border with NK. All NK has to do is get what it needs shipped through Chinese ports and transported overland. Another premature Bush idea bites the dust.

If he had a brain, he wouldn't announce these things before he was sure they'd work.

The leader of China isn't a single person......they rule by committee. It will take them a while to come up with a more aggressive policy. Right now, I think they are more worried that Bush and Japan will try to invade NK. Remember why NK is there........China like the Soviet Union wants a buffer between it and its enemies like Japan. They most likely will deal with jong-il diplomatically behind closed doors. Remember too they understand him a lot better than we do.
