There are a few issues with your position...the first is that you assume you know what and why others believe. But consider that for hundreds of years there was a common border between the Muslim lands the the West (and also with India and China) and there was no hysterical jihad or suicide attacks. If as some tend to advocate that "Jihad" meaning military conquest of conversion is a requirement of their religion, how do you explain all those years of peace? Secondly, you seem to be certain that your approach yields your intended results, but I doubt that you can reason that out. Thirdly, if you were to actually listen to what many so called Islamic extremists say, you will notice that it boils down to them wanting us to be out of their lives and out of their countries rather than converting us to Islam. Now here is a little excercise for you: Here is a link to Koran hti.umich.edu go ahead and do a search on "Jew", "Christian", etc. Then tell us what you learned. ST
