i believe that intel really did threaten to make guacamole out of Gateway in order to make an example of it, which it did...i suspect that the same was done to Mickey and Kevin more recently...hopefully with a very different result :)))

Gateway CEO Ted Waitt said that Intel threatened to turn his company into 'guacamole' if it didn't continue to use only Intel chips in its personal computers. This and other interesting tidbits regarding the new AMD/Intel lawsuit were revealed by John Dvorak in his recent interview with SYS-CON.TV.

AMD will need to get Ted Waitt to say that, not John Dvorak or Hector.
