"No wonder she knew so much about them!"

LOL!!

They both (the two thread members on "the smell from the center")appear to spend their entire day with their weight eased into a computer chair. In the meantime watching movies, reading books, drinking wine and "touring" the planet so as to be "centralised"! It is becoming such a funny saga. I hope they will both continue to truckle at their respective feet. This is just the most fun!

X knows Iraq too. Today X told zeta her Iraqi friend didn't know much Iraq. Guess that Iraqi hadn't read the right books.

X's opinion that visiting a country in person is less informative than not visiting it reminds me of the time she bragged about spending time touring the various former parts of the USSR. When I began probing her about them, she clarified her experience: she had "virtually" toured them. LOL.

Dontcha know that reading about something or taking a "virtual tour" is often superior to hand's on experience?

X's travels are limited to running to Trader Joe's to stock up on organic chicken sausages at Trader Joe's.
