My point was that the prediction of running out by 2030 is almost definitely wrong. In case you didn't see it, Chevron made a major discovery recently in previously unexplored areas in very deep water in the Gulf of Mexico. Also, improved technology is making it viable to go back into old wells and pump more out. I have been in the oil industry for more years than I care to admit to, so I know a little more about it than the average guy.

nah, there was a report about 2 weeks ago saying we have enough to a least 2150. I bet it wasn't in the NY Slimes so you didn't read about it.
