Mish I think the point is as was clearly displayed over the last year by the actor Tom Cruise, "Overexposure" isn't a good thing and in the end a hiatus from visibility or in your case too much long winded chatter might not have a lot of value. The data in your last post provide a prime example. Your thoughts are feeding upon themselves almost like bad habit. I am not saying quit, just slow down! George Will is one of the few writers I can read on a continual basis and I only read him once a week. Best Don

Mish A follow-up to my earlier post, I can't believe it, but I came across another of your products a weekly podcast??? "Mish's Blog -- Mike 'Mish' Shedlock" How NOT to Fix the Global Economy October 11 - Mish has outdone himself. In this latest podcast, as a companion piece to Mish's work from WhiskeyandGunpowder.com - even Nobel Prize winning economists tremble. Listen HOW NOT to fix things - and then some suggestions on what SHOULD be done.. Michael your podcasts make you really sound like an amateur who has become obsessed with his own thoughts. I knew you and enjoyed chatting with you long before this blog / podcast obsession started and to be honest you are losing it. You are becoming self absorbed into thinking what you say means something, Mish it really doesn't. You have become a doctors classic case of the dangers of the internet and blogging in general. As I said before it has really gone to your head. You have gone from a nice chap who was is a great amateur photographer and who use to work in the financial landscape doing “un-financial” related tasks, to this person who is trying to pass themselves off as the Wizard of High Finance. But Mish all it takes is a lifting up of the curtain to see there isn't a lot behind that curtain. Please slow down, cut back on this obsession of yours to be something you really aren't. The podcasts are actually embarrassing. At least in the blogs and other writings you have time to present your thoughts in a meaningful manner and not sound like a foolish kid talking to friends on the phone while watching a football game. You are at the point where you may actually need help. Give it a break, take some time off, collect your thoughts, evaluate what you have done and maybe in a 6 months start-up again but at a much slower pass. Sorry to be so blunt but you are out of control, hopefully you won't blow off what I am saying a BS. Sincerely Your friend Don Green
