Clapper, <You might be joking but I was wondering what's peyote like when taking it?> It was similar to mescaline - shifting patterns, colors, brightness,.... a lot of cool stuff. For me, no where near acid...only did acid twice in college...first time scared the shit out of me (I saw giant numbers that were bright pink among other strange stuff), second time it was just bizarre....I couldn't figure out whether or not I was "back" from the trip...spent hours thinking about it. I was too chicken to try it more times and just stuck to grass and hash after that. Smoked a lot of grass in base camp, but never when we were working. That was a long time ago. Haven't had any since 1978. Altair19
