I have to look at my own experiences. I watched as Mrs al Khadr told us that her family was a proud al Qaeda family, and that she was willing to sacrifice her children to the glory of Islam. One of her sons is in Guantanamo, for war crimes under the Geneva Convention, Her husband died killing pakistani soldiers in Pakistan, he was originally Egyptian and is a founder of al Qaeda. Presently Canadians are bearing the cost of rehab for one of her other sons paralyzed from the waist down killing Pakistanis in Pakistan. He is a Canadian of Egyptian descent. Mrs al kadhr ran a camp with her brother training killers for al Qaeda. She hated the west until her son needed medical care, and then she was a Canadian. I submit that Liberals fail to see the way al Qaeda families operate. Even when we know what kind of people we are dealing with, we are unable to consider their incipient evil. cbc.ca
