Will Sara Evans Quitting Dancing With The Stars Bring About The Return Of Willa Ford? By Joe Reality on Dancing with the Stars Not since Mario Vasquez walked away from American Idol 4 has a contestant quitting a reality show generated as much press as Sara Evans announcing her departure from Dancing With The Stars 3. However, unlike with Vasquez where the reasons behind the departure were shrouded in mystery, the reasons behind Sara Evans’ decision are being told in all too graphic detail in newspapers and on television shows across America. Sara Evans’ website merely states that she “has filed for divorce from her husband Craig Schelske” and “felt it was in her children’s best interest that she also withdraw from competition on Dancing With the Stars, an ABC television series that she has been part of this fall, to give her family her full attention at this difficult time.” Sara Evans’ website also asks that people “respect and understand her need for privacy in the face of these recent events.” Unfortunately for Sara Evans, she is on one of the hottest shows on television, which means that what might have been a minor story is now a main event. The Tennessan obtained the court documents that Sara Evans filed in the divorce and reports that Evans is “alleging that he had committed adultery, verbally abused her and frequently watched pornography at home.” No official word has been given by ABC on how Sara Evans’ departure will affect the remaining episodes of Dancing With The Stars 3. However, generally when someone quits a reality TV show then it means that someone else is coming back to fill the spot. It would seem unlikely that ABC would either just skip over having an elimination this upcoming week or would end the show’s run early. The most likely scenario would probably be that the most recently eliminated couple of Willa Ford and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will return to the competition.
