I don't think its reasonable to refer to Gitmo as a gulag.

You made my points, Buddy. By using either Gitmo or Eastern Europe sites as means to avoid some of the protections we claim to hold so dear, the message of who and what America is for Americans (vs. others) can get muddled. Now, I am not going to say for a minute that we don't need to deal with the threat....I just wonder about our chosen means, sites and proclamations to the world. (methods has already been debated to death). Everyone seems to want to close Gitmo, including the President, but what is next?
