something that just doesn't feel right about it I have to agree. As I've pointed out before it's easier for Bill Gates to donate 100 million than it is for me to donate $100. It's no skin off his nose. I only admire people who live reasonably frugal lives. I like the attitude of Craig of Craigslist, Ed Begley Jr. and Warren Buffet, if you can believe the stories about him. Guys who live in 120,000 sq ft homes and drive around in 30' limos don't get my admiration no matter how much they invest. Neither to Bono nor Opra. Thanks - but don't expect me to worship you for your sacrifices. However... What ever those people in Africa get is a great thing. They really need it so it's way way better than nothing.
