It appears that personal consumption increased when personal tax rates were decreased.

The removal of live consumption by Risklovers & Joe Soccer Mom monsters by 4% or more is time-consuming when dealing with bad habits. The biggest challenge if they want to reduce future consumption is to reduce future Government Expenditures along with the rest of the crowd. The Bush Administration has refused to budget for the war but instead asks Congress for special funding each year, called “supplemental” spending.

The recent analysis of Iraq war costs that takes into account the operational costs plus interest on the debt and veterans costs, assuming U.S. troops would remain in Iraq to 2015.
