We need to rebuild the Carter clean energy system times a hundred, lower speed limits, up mandatory fuel effiency for all machines, and offer rewards for new ideas which save energy and money. Ultimately we've got to use a renewable like hydrogen or solar. But in the meantime, the American farmer and desert rancher can get into the energy business gropwing biomass for ethanol and solar and wind farms. Also, hemp should be legalized because that's also a great source of cheap fuel, oil and paper pulp. What we don't need is to think short-term and invade our wildlife refuges and marine sanctuaries. That's really evil thinking.
