To tell you the truth, I did not understand their balance sheets. And I have looked at many. some of them very creative.

It has to be the title of the accounts in the balance sheets.

Once you understand their accounting methods especially of their venture capital value, you only have the mundane supply chain software accounting to understand.

If I take over, I would be very careful about the equity value in CMGI's equity holdings. It should follow the normal accounting procedure of venture capitalists. Hire one that handled big money to run them(at least three are viable according to liquidity events)(contributions to CMGI's cash position).

Software charges are now 90 projects. Accounts receivable is now $92 million. Small loss is recorded with one project amortized for discontinued operation($2.5 million). The write off saved some income tax payment.

If I am wrong, please explain to me?
