Oaky – so there I was in Burlingame at a friend’s house. It was about 3 in the morning. While waiting for the acid to kick in we were smoking opium and hash. Thought I should get gas for the car. So I drove down El Camino to Palo Alto. Acid was workin’. Stopped at every single gas station on my side of the road and asked them to “fill it up.” I was all by myself. I was having just soooo much fun. Around 8 AM I called my folks for no reason I could think of who reminded me that we were all going bowling at 9. Shees. 9 in the morning on a Sunday, and I’m still floating. Well, my old man was not someone to disagree with, nor someone to tell I was still floating. So I met them there. Bowled the 3 best games of my life 177, 178, 177. Made me feel like Doc Ellis. But I didn’t hear that story till later :)
