Know what you mean, I drove San Diego to Palo Alto and back last week and the scaring and speeding of many is getting quite something indeed.

Basically out of control.

The safest stretch seems to be the straight 170 miles of "I5" North of Bakersfield up to "152", where very few go faster than 100 mph - or below 90 mph.

The highways around San Diego these days seem worse than Florida at any times. And believe me, that's bad. The speediest while worst drivers: young Asian women.
How come? My take is that they don't get sufficiently "pacified" at home.

Taro
