They are already in a mess. That is how they turned back segregation. Rosa Parks volunteered with the perfect case to take to the supreme court.

But the best chance is for governors and presidents to appoint liberal judges.

Legislation is the proper way, but this is a democracy and the majority still do to uderstand. /we have had several inititives to legalize pot and they have all almost passed.

A democracy with laws and rules provides a hurdle for good deeds and a defense against bad deeds. It is called constructive conservatism.

I have been in politics for 30 years and am vry liberal. But I do not want to throw our the baby with the bath water.

Democracy is a matter of compromise. I never met anyone with all the answers. I only trust thoughtful men and women. Wild eyed approaches to the problem are usually unsophisticated and usually a wrong approach.
