Clifford,

A few years ago you thought yourself to be an expert on the market. However, you lost your ass in the market and possibly caused others (if anybody really listened to your advise) to lose money too.

Now you pretend to be an expect on politics. Any reason to believe you got politics figured out any better than you figured out the market?

Remember, if incumbants do not have at least 50% they can be in trouble because historically undecideds break more for the challenger particularly in an anti-incumbant mood like we have today. So Dems could win anything from 4-8 seats. I think they will definitely win at least 3-4 which would make the senate very close to being even.

What you have to remember is that two years ago we all thought Kerry had a good chance of winning.....all the polls were showing Kerry ahead or in a dead heat. The pollsters were telling us that the fact the incumbent, Mr. Bush, had less than 50%, was a good indication he was going to lose. In the end, Kerry lost and the GOP increased its hold on Congress. In the final days of any election, its very common for incumbents to experience a voter surge in their favor and for undecideds not to break for their opponent; to whit, Mr. Bush.

Again I caution you......its too early to discuss what's going to happen after election day.
