Ford really does look like he's going to win. He's got the rightwing by the short-hairs by claiming he's the church-going values candidate, and he can back that up by regular church-going. He's also strong on defense and much more articulate that Corker, who seems kind of slimey. Funny how many of the rightwingers who pander to the religious right never go to church themselves except for photo ops. Anne Coulter for instance, claims she's a member of a church but they've never seen her there a single time.
