I agree. And signs that the partisans are getting the upper hand is evidenced by Mr. Warner pulling out of the race this early.

If the Dems win in November, their performance will be watched very closely. I think the Hillary folks should work with the Dems in the House (should they get a majority)to ensure they set up a easy path for her in 2008..
