Should the Dems get into a majority in the House or Senate or both, then this nation would wait to see how the politicians could work together collectively to extricate the troops out of Iraq without significant harm to US military image of superiority.

Surely the US cannot negotiate from a position of strength with North Korea when they know that US troops are dying every day in Iraq. Surely the politics of "Freedom Fries" vs. "French Fries" is not effective. And surely, the electorate needs to sit up and listen when the Generals and retired Generals say that our elected reps are not making decisions that are kosher in the eyes of military scientists.

Democrats are better at counter-terrorism for this simple reason, they actually attack terrorists, don't mire our military and squander all our resources and manpower invading countries which have little or nothiong to do with terrorism.

It's called honesty and brains.

Kerry for instance would have killed Osama Bin Laden years ago. Bush let him go.

So much for the myth Bush is great at killing terrorists, huh? And of course the NIE proved Bush's war in Iraq is the best thing to ever happen for terrorist recruiters. And the worst thing to ever happen to US Army recruiters.
