I live in Los Angeles. We have millions of Hispanics here, many of them illegals. SO far as I can tell they are mostly solid, hard-working citizens or even harder working non-citizens. I have also never seen one on the public dole or one who either doesn't speak English or isn't trying hard to learn. Only an idiot would not try to learn English while living in the US. That issue is a really phony one because Hispanic immigrants risk their lives to come here to work, work, work, and speaking English is part of being able to get a job.
