Tech buys. A lot of money to be made from way down here. Just think. Earnings warnings are already priced in. When the election is over BUSH (probably) will make fueling the economy his first goal. Tax cuts will fuel the economy and inflation will not be much of a problem. A short term fix anyway. The Fed lowers rates and off we go. Of course they still need to keep paying down the debt so that's the rub but all-in-all I think this entire last 3 months has been a bottoming period, getting all the air out of the ballon so we can blow it halfway back up again. I also expect some takeovers soon. Way overdue. How many takeover targets are there now? Hundreds. So many valuable names and assets. So much investment in infrastructure and research. People forget LU still has more patents than anyone, for instance. They are going to be a big player in the future once they get themselves straightened out. IBM and INTC also have huge futures. SUNW is a great one to buy in the 70's.
CPQ, AAPL, COMS, DELL, IFMX (and anything internet) are the tech dogs of today. Climactic irrational selling has made them so cheap they're good for 40% near term (2-3 months) I think. And tons of micro-caps to play if you have a handle on a certain company. Take advantage of the mass insecurity and strike while they're so cheap. Buy on a downer day not a hot day. Then hold at last 2-3 months and you'll see great gains. We should be just fine until March or so from here. Yesterday's rally was a clue of what's to come. Even if we test one more time it won't change the inevitable, that we're going back up to semi-reasonable levels again soon.

Yes many of us have lost a lot but you don't give up at the bottom when the light at the end of the tunnel is clearly visible.
