American voters would be wise to break up the current political Civil War in WashDC. We should insist members of Congress make about 3 annual trips to the Capitol to vote, while spending the remainder of the yr in their home districts. The country club atmosphere with it's ever present lobbyists would be eliminated, if they stayed closer to their constituents rather than concentrated in one place. In that way, we could divide and conquer the influence peddling and political crossfire, and save bundles of tax revenue in the process.
