I do not want to become my enemies, nor do I want to mirror the worst qualities (worst qualities imo, of course) my political opponents exhibit. Not only does it make me uncomfortable to do what I dislike in others, I think it is also ineffective. The great middle of the electorate is not to be won by the screaming sidelines- I think a moderate middle option must be offered. I don't think that prejudice and demonization are going to save the day. I'm far left, and I've never voted republican, but I may not fit in here, and that's ok. Last word is yours.
