Actually, some of their prices are excellent. Being a price shopper I am very conscious of things such as that. For instance, here in the area Walmart has distilled water for $.64 a gallon... the closest to it was Meijer at $.69 a gal.. now Meijer has raised their prices to around .74 to .79 a gal..
If one purchases other items at Walmart (which we do) it's worth the stop as it's 'on the way' to every other place we shop :)

What's to hate about Wal Mart? Last year they opened a "Super" near me. Groceries and all. A comparison shopping trip showed brand name grocery items 20% to 30% lower than my local Kroger or Safeway. Trick is to go there in the middle of the day in the middle of the week. Stay the heck away on weekends... unless you speak Spanish, or Korean, or Viet Namese, or.....
