The pic I posted showed the Starrigavan grounded on Adak Island. If you think Unalaska (Dutch Harbor) is bad, try Adak and Attu. I've never been there, but I've heard the stories. You must've had to have been in pretty good shape to hike those mountains. The bunks were so tight I could hardly roll over without getting out of bed. I take it you had your own bunk assigned? No "hot bunking?"
