Maybe not, but in my neighborhood their egos aren't wrapped up in their posts on the Internet.
All Republicans are not bad souls. Some are just not informed.
I'm wrong sometimes.
Also will try and remain happy any way it goes.
I'm the guy they give tax breaks to.
Not my fault.

A great many people, are 'apolitical'. They spend very little time thinking about politics, don't care very much about public affairs. Tend to just 'trust' the people in charge because 'they know what's best'--either that, or assume the people in charge are all crooks anyway.
These people do not spend time on political message boards. There are millions of them. And many of them are our neighbors. They do change their minds, and they do, occasionally pay attention, especially if someone they know and respect makes a good point, without being shrill or antagonistic.
These people are everywhere. They matter. They vote every day with their pocketbooks. We need to get them to vote with their minds and hearts too.
