"In a recent interview with The Hartford Courant, Senator Joseph Lieberman said something that wasn’t credible. When the newspaper asked him whether America would be better off if the Democrats took control of the House of Representatives next month, he replied, “Uh, I haven’t thought about that enough to give an answer.”"

Leiberman doesn't HAVE to think about it. As an independent, he's free to stick his finger up and vote whichever way the wind blows for his own best interests. If the Senate splits closely enough, Lieberman may be the vote that decides things, a role I don't trust him in at all.

I saw that........no one should be surprised by his confusion. Liberman plays so many games he can't remember which is the 'right' response to a particular question.

What I want to know is why don't his constituents see what a big asshole he is? After all, the rest of the country does.
