HI cary,

Although many say diversification is the only way,IBD suggests it is better for a portfolio to concentrate on a few stocks.

This helps maximize a portfolio's percent return.

Of course that implies one must be right on the select few one concentrates in.

I prefer a concentration of stocks that have consistant market share growth, coupled with innnovative new products and of course a balance sheet must look like a bank's.

This sector is still cyclical,regardless of any pundits projections.

Companies are always blowing their R&D dollars, as others are creating new products ,that provide growth and take away business from those who have mispent their R&D dollars.

Good to hear from you,I haven't seen your list of holdings in quite a while - I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.
