Oh yes they did. That's why they are bidding it up. They think the Fed will come to the rescue to save housing.

That's a very good point.

The whole market bounced when oil started coming down as people felt that would save the consumer.

The homies have gotten added fuel from the perception that the Fed is done and they will come to the rescue.

What people are going to find out is burst bubbles can't be reinflated. It just doesn't happen.
