"He in no way fits the profile that Elroy insists on repeating." That description fits a neighbor we had when I was a teenager. An exceptionally kind and helpful guy with a great sense of humor. He lied about his drinking, but that was mostly because he was scared to death of his wife. <G> On other topics, he was as honest as could be. Truth be told, he'd killed so many brain cells that he COULDN'T lie. He was in and out of rehabs in his 50s, and died before he turned 60.
