France, Spain and Poland did not invade the US to "help" us with our revolution.

I don't believe the British Royal Army and Navy would have agreed with you, nor the American loyalists ("tories").

That was a civil war, and they took one side, and intervened by attacking British forces on what the Brits thought was their own territory, as well as supplying the Americans with men, ammunition, weapons, ships, military advisors, etc.

You don't have to read much to remember this, just look up the role the French played at Yorktown. Lafayette's forces on the ground, the French navy in the harbor. The decisive battle of the war.
