I agree, a cat works pretty good. I have taken our cat/cats to the cottage sometimes , but the problem I found with that is that they killed chipmunks and other things that had never seen a cat. They also stayed outside at night and killed outdoors leaving the mice in the cottage safe and warm. In the city they work to keep the mice down, no question.
