Quit defending the corrupt oil business and corrupt politicians. You people need to realize you are defending some of the biggest most outrageous crooks in US history.
Why do you do it? Just party loyalty? Drink too much corporate rightwing Koolaid? Or do you really believe a word they say? Did you believe them about Iraq? Did you believe them about how they're the party of "values"?

Maybe you're just a sucker with a brain the size of a pea. One in every crowd.

The government is already taxing Big Oil like $2 for every $1 in profits they make.

So you're saying that the oil companies are making no profits because of the gov't.

I want to know how a engineering grad can have such fuzzy math skills. ;-)

Big Oil doesn't pay the gasoline tax, wimpy. That's a sales tax and the proceeds go to building and maintaining highways, as well as other important uses.

The US pays the smallest tax on gasoline in the western world.
