Elroy, you have perhaps hit on a theme to be checked out in politics. I wonder if there is a high propensity for high alcohol consumption, if not outright alcoholism, in bosses of countries.

Yeltsin, Churchill, Muldoon, Lange, Kim Il Sung, Bob Hawke, Bush - maybe megalomania leads to stress which leads to alcohol.

Maybe somebody has run some numbers to see if there's a correlation of high politics with booze.
