We're 3 hours north of Berserkeley. These are the types of folks who wait for 3 hours at midnight to be able to escort the body of a dead local soldier home.
And yes, they, and the rest I know, are voting Dems for the first time in their lives.
They consider themselves Americans, not Republicans.

I'm PO'd at the terrorists, so I will be voting for the Republicans that have helped Muslim governments resist the jihadi fundamentalists.

I'm also PO'd at the democrats, so I will never make the mistake of voting for a Democrat again.
