Yes, but you are the good neighbor. Not that any of the ingrates will actually appreciate your efforts. Maybe one who thinks she worked too hard after doing 1/10th what you did will have an inkling.

Boy, I hate situations like that. You inadvertently make yourself a prisoner in your own house. I rarely leave a phone message asking someone to call me back, because I don't want to have to hang around waiting for the call. I don't make very many appointments for the same reason. Since I retired, I want total control of my time. Not that I have that much to do. ggg
