Interesting quote. Its a little to precise (99.4%) considering the imprecision about when "economic history" may reasonably be considered to have started, and when human economic development might be considered to equal or pass that Yanomamo (Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze age, later?), but its basic point holds even if you shift the percentages a bit.
