So, you're for eliminating Canadian socialism?

That is a long leap. At 87 my father isn't going to go to either Thailand or the US for surgery. He doesn't like to travel. I am for eliminating waste from the system. I am for making the system so that people have some idea of what a visit to emergency costs. Or a visit to the Doctor's office. I am for hospitals being run with as few bureacrats and as many workers as possible. Is that eliminating socialism, or wanting every dollar to purchase as much health care as it can? I would like to see young Canadian educated Doctors practising in Canada instead of the US where they make a lot more money. I would like my tax free day to be in April like the US instead of the end of June like in Canada. 2 1/2 months wages from every working Canadian is a heck of a price to pay. Think about that, Do your doctor bills cost you 10 weeks pay? I haven't been sick in years, I don't drink or smoke, and am in excellent health, but my doctor's bills are 10 weeks pay per year.
