..and AFTER Pearl Harbor, we jumped into the war with both feet. The war had HUGE support. My dad left college and joined the Army Air Corps.

It's these imperialistic wars like Vietnam and Iraq where no one attacked us that don't get the support. Americans just aren't bloodthirsty enough I guess.

ok...but I fail to see your point. Are you saying that if "no one supported the US going to war but the president and most soldiers" then we should go to war anyway? And why did you forget about my real point that was about property rights? It is my money and if the government is truly my agent I should be able to stop it from wasting it on wars I do not agree with.
