With US casualties picking up in Iraq lately, the minority who support the campaign now are saying they will accept more US deaths to achieve the stated goals.

I found it interesting that the question on deaths matches the current polls on general support for the war. Not only do 60%+ dislike the idea, they find the pain it inflicts absolutely unacceptable now.

That pressure will be felt politically, however one parses the poll questions.
