On the contrary. My idea is rooted in the lack of trust for the government and respect for the individual freedom. As it stands, we have a bubble-head president wrapped in a bubble with a congress that rubber stamps his insanity. In my way the public at least gets a partial veto.

I am not sure George Bush is a great president, I believe he is more honest than the man before him. I think he does what he thinks is right. I believe that is all we can ask any man or woman, that they be honest, and that they do their best. I wish I thought the same of Clinton but I don't. I would like to see the government more accountable to the people, but I don't think that allowing voters to portion out the money would work.
