I think part of the reason they get away with it is people don't realize they are mostly lies. They think Rove is telling the truth as a public service.

And its amazing how many ads are running.......last nite, I was switching between three channels and the same McGavick negative ad was running on all three channels simultaneously. Cantwell must have pissed someone off big time. I mean I can understand FLA getting inundated with ads but WA state? It doesn't make sense from a polical POV.

BTW I told Chris there are rumors circulating that the GOP is pulling out of some key races and not spending any more money. I find it hard to believe but people are claiming that tv stations are getting cancellation notices. Of coruse, that's not the case here.
