Ogi,
Another point of view is we are about to start a rally. IF it is a bit ferocious then prices may get bid up enough on some stuff to negate some of the selling. EDIT: EDIT! <G>You had already posted this one step ahead of the Oregon Hippie:

If not I see postings where people have already sold for taxes. Maybe it is and has been tax selling season already?
